Overview of Project:

In this project, I analyzed data from The Healthy Minds Study to better understand college student user experiences through mixed methods approaches. I conducted a thematic analysis of open text responses to questions around attitudes, experiences, and suggestions for design of mental health apps, then coded and organized data into broader themes. These themes included integration of a mental health app with existing campus resources and hesitancy to use mental health apps. As for quantitative findings, I conducted logistic regressions and found a significant association between anxiety and mental health app use.
